The 2010 TC Jet Pilots Sortie will be held at Hok-Si-La park in Lake City on Lake Pepin. Check back for details on reserving your spot.
Campsite Details
We have the 12 best campsites on lock down and a special agreement with the park manager that will let us essentially allow for 80 overnight campers each night in any configuration of tents.
In the map below we have all of the ‘B’ campsites reserved.
Camping will cost $15 per person per night - again regardless of whether you are one person in one tent, or one of 6 people in a huge tent. This was done in order to accommodate more people. There is lodging nearby in motels and RV parks.
During the day, all visitors are welcome to use the public boat launch and hang out in the park, but at 10pm, all non-campers will have to be out of the park. There is a very nice multiple lane boat launch around the corner from the beach in front of the campsites.
Local Lodging
AmericInn Lake City - approx 1 mile door to door from the camp parking lot to the motel.
Willows on the River - if you are a baller or have a big group, these renal condominiums are even a little closer than the AmericInn and have 2 BR condos available for daily rentals.
Park Amenities
The park has nice modern facilities including restrooms, hot showers, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, etc. The campsites are elevated above the water with a nice view of the riding area. They are grass, and have nice flat tent pads as well as tons of shade to chill in.
